About Me & U Cookies

Miyuki Mirafiore is the creative baker behind Me & U Cookies
in New Canaan, CT.

Perfectly oversized, gooey, and delicious, these decadent creations are made in small batches and available in 6 different flavors. Miyuki’s sweet & doughy story started with a random batch of 12 chocolate chip cookies she placed at her noodle shop one day as an extra treat to take home. They flew out, and six years later, these incredibly popular Me & U Cookies have become their very own brand.

“Cookies just make people smile.
They are simple but so loved.”

– Miyuki

Me & U Cookies have layers of sweet buttery goodness, a slightly crisp outer shell, and a soft and chewy inner core. Today, what started as an easy add-on when you picked up your order has become a yummy treasure that regulars expect to take home every time.

Her customers feel happier leaving with these delicious treats, and Miyuki loves that her cookies have the power to make everyone’s day a bit sweeter.

Originally from Gainesville, Florida, Miyuki attended the University of Florida and The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. She met her husband, Dante, at the Culinary Institute, and they were married in 2014.

Some of her experience includes: The Modern in NYC and Alice Waters’ Chez Panisse in Berkeley Ca. It was at Chez Panisse that she learned to appreciate the art of simple food. This love of simple, pure food is evident in her cookies, as they are classic, no frills, just quality ingredients. Me & U Cookies uses flour from Wild Hive Farm in the hudson valley, local eggs, european butter, Tcho and Valrhona chocolate.

Miyuki’s recipes never leave the kitchen without first calling in her favorite taste testers, daughters Keiko and Gemma.

“If there were a spectacular world chocolate cookie event, these cookies would win.”

Miyuki’s cookies were recently given a 9.6 rating and referred to as “spectacular” by Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports.
